Changes in minor updates

Is there any place that lists what actual changes are made between minor updates? (e.g. so you can tell what has changed between 10.0 Build 121 and 10.0 Build 126 )? It's somewhat annoying to see the exact same description for changes that were just copied from a previous release. As I have been bur...

AB 10.0.27 Bug with Favorites pull down and System Crash

The favorites pull-down overwrites screen areas outside of the AB window and "sticks" there after the pull-down is released. This obliterates any background windows and wallpaper until the screen is manually refreshed. The Windows toolbar is also permanently overwritten by the pulldown. Also system ...

I have found that it uses random ports. This means that anyone with a firewall basically has to open up all access for the ridiculous little program. It is a good way to really **** off your network administrators, especially when you try to explain to them why it is accessing ip addresses other tha...

[Tangent] To be honest... 98% of Norton's apps are complete crap and should be avoided. Yay! I'm not alone. Their antivirus might be okay, but all the rest I distrust. And to be even-handed, I hate McAfee too... Ever tried McAfee Uninstaller? Don't! It can't be uninstalled!!! [/Tangent] Oh don't be...

The question that seems to continue to go unanswered is why ahttp.exe constantly seems to want to contact the Avant home site. A number of people I know switched to another browser interface for this reason.

Can anyone tell me exactly where Favicons are assigned to the individual URL shortcuts. There seems like there should be a registry entry or file that essentially says "this icon goes with this interenet shortcut", but I cannot seem to figure out what the mechanism is. :?:

Ahttp.exe local port usage

Can anyone explain why ahttp.exe needs to use a different local port to send information for every website that is accessed? This means that firewalls have to be configured allow access for ahttp.exe on all local ports. From some of the chatter I am seeing, it seems that some users get a bit paranoi...

I'm not sure I understand what all the fracas is about the renaming of the avant.exe prg. What difference does it make what Anderson chooses to call it. He could have chosen "purplepetunia.exe".
