I opted to change the default search which opened in AB so I copied the URL into a new tab in IE7. Then I could select google as default search engine. When I closed and reopened IE7, the runonce loaded and completed properly.

You're not alone Pip. IE7 runs fine but won't do the run once page. I don't see a way around this either.

maf, i'm glad to hear you haven't had any problems. FWIW, you can export your bookmarks (I think you have to do this in IE) and save the file. Then you don't have to worry about them being lost.

I could be wrong but I expect it checks only for released versions, not betas.
