Two problems:
-I often receive messages that there's a failure with mozilla plug ins. Then i check my mozilla, but is says it is up to date
Then i ask the page to solve the problem, and it seems tot do it. But the message often reappears.
- I also get black pages, as I'm working with avant. Then i renew the pages, then it often does show the pages, but the overall problem, i can't get solved.
The result is, that i reinstall the newest avant version once in two days. But that also doesn't help
I have xp pro on my lap,
mozilla plug in problem, and black pages

If the out of date plugins message is showing up without reason and you have updated plugins, check the Firefox tweaks i posted here: http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic ... 40#p190740
Follow the the beginning of first post instructions then change these 2 values:
Never heard of that black pages problem. That out of date plugin warnings could be connected with it. Try to download and use this version of Avant Browser:
http://avant.it-mate.co.uk/dl/Avant_Bro ... 23-USB.exe
Make sure you deleted everything left from the previous browsers (and remove all plugins), clean your registry using any reg cleaner tool you have available and make fresh install.
Follow the the beginning of first post instructions then change these 2 values:
extensions.blocklist.enabled = false - to disable annoying notification about outdated plugins completely
plugins.hide_infobar_for_missing_plugin = true - (Hides notification about missing plugins. This is only if you dont want to install any more plugins than you already have. If you want firefox to notify you about any missing plugin leave this at false, as it will probably cause confusion why certain content isn't playing on a page)

Depending on the brightness and contrast settings, the lilac error page can appear black, especially with certain video cards and monitors. He didn't say whether or not the black pages have the error message text.Climhazard wrote:Never heard of that black pages problem.
