Avant alternative

"Thanks" to this issue (extensions don't work in Avant!) and some other issues, like random crashes, tabs messed up, missing favicons at start, I think about an alternative for Avant.

Currently I'm using Avant, Chrome and Edge.

Requirements:
- active program
- Firefox engine / extensions
- bookmarks /favicons
- portable version or easy update of all settings, bookmarks, opened tabs
- as many Avant features as possible (open bookmark always in new tab next to current tab, middle click link to open in new tab next to current tab, 2x tab to refresh, right click+middle to close tab...)

I think about Firefox or Firefox Portable, do you know the other good browsers?

So I switched to Firefox Portable and these addons: uBlock Origin, Gesturefy, Hyper Drag, Video DownloadHelper, Zoom Page WE, Undo Close Tab, Go Up, Close Tab in Context Menu, TabToggle, Read aloud.

It's already few weeks and everything works good, no bugs, no crashes, no lilac pages, I should switch earlier, it was not easy to change all settings - including hidden, find new addons and I still miss few Avant features, like Highlight, but Firefox is better, much more stable, I had no crash yet.

Still no crash, I really miss Avant after 15 years, but still no lilac pages, no crash, even after 1 month using FF, RIP Avant.

Good decision. More will follow and switch to Firefox.

Avant is so stubborn it doesn't want to fix the problems. (Or maybe Anderson doesn't know how.)
