Support of "foreign" letters

Post by Colossus » Sun Sep 24, 2006 11:34 pm

A few minutes ago I tried to connect to a german website called http://www.spielesüchtig.de , but when I clicked on the link Avant suddenly changed the link to http://www.spieles?.de and couldn't open the website. Now, I know that it didn't work with a normal U instead of Ü, which works on some websites. I even tried to set the interface on german, which again didn't work.

Doesn't Avant support these kinds of letters or is it something else to it?

PS:Worked perfectly fine of Opera (I didn't test FireFox or any of the other browsers)

It is a very old IE problem.
Use the real URL http://www.spielesuechtig.de/ instead.
Thanks Anderson for checking out my AB 11.0 feature request list,
now it's time to go on with 11.8:

Looks like it is. You're first link worked fine for me.
