Can't use my laptop's virtual scrolling with Orca...

I have installed Orca for the first time, after being very satisfied with the Avant Browser for a long time. The Orca looks great and is even faster than the Avant.

Unfortunately, I can't scroll pages up and down, by using the virtual scrolling section on my laptop's touch pad. I checked with the Avant, the I.E. and with all other applications on my computer and the virtual scrolling works very well.

Can anyone tell me how can I solve the problem?

Thanks!!!

It could be a Firefox issue, have you tried with Firefox 3.0.5?
If not, have you tried changing the mouse gesture options?

Thanks for your reference.
I never used any version of the Firefox on my laptop.
I also didn't make any change in the mouse's settings.

By the way, today, out of the blue, some pages in the browser started to move heavily and slowly with the movement of my finger on the virtual scrolling's strip, but it is lazy and spazmy... while in the same time, in other applications, such as I.E., Word etc., the virtual scrolling is smooth and fast.

Any Ideas?

Have you tried disabling mouse gestures? (Tools > Orca Browser Options > Mouse)

Orca uses the Firefox rendering engine - so you are kind of using Firefox!
Please try Firefox as suggested previously to check the issue.

I've solved the problem!!! Thanks for your kind help!!!

After I checked with Firefox and it didn't work as well, I remembered, that my old laptop, Dell C610, uses an older version of the touch pad driver, also by Synaptics. I checked Firefox on the Dell and it worked properly. So simply, I've uninstalled the touch pad driver from my current laptop (HP EVO N620c) and installed the older version from the Dell...

Sooooo, at this moment, my Orca is perfect!!!
