AB NEEDS DRAG AND DROP of bookmarks from Addressline to expanded folders.

SO MUCH CLICKING TO ADD BOOKMARKS TO FOLDERS because after adding a BM one-at-a-time using the ADD TO button, my FOLDER TREE COLLAPSES forcing me to reopen my point in the TREE.

I USE IE TO DEVELOP BM'S. THIS IS A SHAME, AND THE UPGRADE IN AB IS LOOOOOOOOOOOONG PAST DUE.

WHY ISN'T THIS A PRIORITY??????????

I add A LOT of bookmarks, and have to switch browsers, re-login to my Yahoo webmail, then use IE to add BMs.

The caps are my disbelief that D&D has not yet been effected in AB.

(But, I know what you mean about "CAPS" - seems like yelling, which I'm not.)

It looks like you can actually drag and drop to favorites but it doesn't work quite the way you would expect.

1) You can't drop a link on a folder; you have to drop it before or after a link in an existing folder. Thus, you can't drag and drop to an empty folder.

2) When you create a folder it is created above the selected folder not within it. Again, if the folder is empty, you can't create a folder in it.

I hope these things will be fixed soon.

yep this drag and drop feature that doesn't seem very hard to add would be a BIG plus to AB. because right now I often don't use the favorites because of this.

I always save specific bookmarks like XP tweaks etc, by adding the bookmark then opening bookmarks drop down menu, then dragging to a folder that is open in the taskbar and dropping. It would be very useful as I have many different bookmarks organized in different folders without having to keep them in the browser taking up space.
