Gmail requires ActiveX controls to be enabled

have problem getting into Gmail which required active x, keep getting this page, I have enable active x but still won't load. I can get there using firefox with no problem but not with avant or ie8. Can anyone help me out here? thanks for any reply in advance.

Please try to go to Tools>Internet Options...>Security and reset each zone to default and then please try to open GMail again.

Thanks, but this don't work either with IE8 or avant but I can get there using firefox, not such a big deal just wanted to know why? I use windows mail thru my provider for primary mail but some times gmail have a lote of spam I need to delete which is not possible unless you use basic and go one by one deleting. Thanks again for all the help.

Can you please test whether other ActiveX objects such as Flash movies works?
If yes, Please try to close IE & Avant and delete temporary internet files & cookies.

If yes and it still doesn't work:
Probably not, But worth a try: Could it be that you've accidentally added gmail/google to the restricted zone?
Please go to Tools>Internet Options...>Security
Select restricted zone and click Sites & make sure that gmail/google is not there.
