antifirefox.com and antiinternetexplorer.com are owned by...

Post by abfan123 » Thu Jun 16, 2005 10:50 am

I just have noticed that antifirefox.com and antiinternetexplorer.com are owned by "JustEdge Networks"
http://www.browserdiscussions.com belongs to them as well

(I bet most of you already know but just for general information.Because I heard some rumors that antifirefox.com is owned by Microsoft Internet Explorer team and all that)
IE8(Pro), Microsoft Security Essentials
Main PC:

Secondary PC same as primary but with Windows 7 x64 Ultimate as the OS.

Errrmm actually, JustEdge are the hosts/providers, not the owners....... thar be a difference me laddie ;) (do a WhoIs query on antifirefox.com and it'll show some lady/gent in Clifton/New Jersey and not JEN).

http://sunny.nic.com/cgi-bin/whois?doma ... irefox.com

Doing a WhoIs query on antiinternetexplorer.com shows JEN as the registrant as the *actual* registrant has opted out of the WhoIs database.

Yes, but JEN are still NOT the owners of that domain ... they're the providers only.
Registration Service Provided By: JustEdge Networks Inc

Once again, the actual registrant has simply opted out of the WhoIs database, so the providers use their own info instead, that doesn't mean the own/run the site/domain.

'Minimal collateral damage' and 'entire star system' do /not/ belong in the same sentence.
