Avant abandoned???

There seems to be no additional development/bug fixes going on with Avant, except for the last few engine updates. Has Avant development stopped for good? Is it basically an abandoned project?

Or even better: can we update the engines on our own for box FF and Chromium?

It looks like yes, at least every now and then. For me, this is enough, as the current feature set of AB Ultimate is still very compelling and it is worth the effort.

Project Avant Browser is dead ?

Oh dear, we really do need a Firefox update now for the Ultimate version owing to the recent add-on verification mess up by Mozilla. None of my add-ons are now working which is very inconvenient to say the least! Firefox v.66.0.4 (or subsequent) is needed to overcome the problem.

A thought... Does anyone know how to update the Firefox version in Avant without an Avant update?

I found a solution / workaround, switch this option to false:

xpinstall.signatures.required
